The Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology provides services in line with all the requirements of modern medicine with its current staff.

In the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology, technology is utilized at international standards in all subfields of Obstetrics and Gynecology, and experienced personnel provide timely and accurate diagnosis and treatment to our patients with ethical and professional approaches. In our department, all gynecological surgeries, as well as normal pregnancy follow-up, high-risk pregnancy follow-up, general women’s health, menopause-osteoporosis, birth control methods, Urogynecology, Pelvic Floor Surgery, Gynecological Endoscopy (Laparoscopy, Hysteroscopy), Gynecological Oncology, Infertility treatments are successfully carried out by our specialized and experienced physician staff.

The following are the general problems addressed in our Obstetrics and Gynecology Department:

Investigation and Treatment of Infertility Causes

In infertile couples, infertility causes are first thoroughly investigated. After identifying the problem, the most suitable treatment method is applied to our patients.

Causes of female infertility include: Damage or Blockage in the Tubes, Endometriosis, Ovulation Disorders, High Prolactin, Polycystic Ovary Syndrome (PCOS), Early Menopause, Uterine Fibroids (myomas), Pelvic Adhesions (adhesions), Other Causes (Medication Use, Thyroid Problems, Cancer and Its Treatment, Late Puberty, Amenorrhea, Liver Disease, Diabetes), and others.

For the investigation of the female factor:

Ovarian follicular reserve screening and monitoring of egg development with ultrasonography, Hormonal tests (AMH and hormone profiles), Hysterosalpingography (uterine film), Hydrosalpingography (examination of the uterus by giving fluid during ultrasound), Hysteroscopy (examination of the uterus with a camera), Additionally, tubal and ovarian (ovarian) surgery for infertility can be performed using the Laparoscopic (closed surgery) method.

Causes of male infertility include abnormal sperm production or function, sperm transport disorders, general health, and lifestyle factors.

For the investigation of the male factor:

Semen analysis (semen examination), hormone tests, ultrasound are applied, and the coordinated treatment of diagnosed pathologies is carried out in conjunction with the urology department.

In Infertility Treatment:

Ovulation induction treatments, Intra-Uterine Insemination (IUI), and other treatments are applied.

Diagnostic and Treatment of Gynecologic Oncology:

After a detailed systemic and pelvic examination of our patients, various diagnostic tests and treatments are applied according to patient findings:

For Cervical (cervix) cancer diagnosis and treatment: PAP smear, Colposcopic cervical biopsy, Endocervical curettage, LEEP (removal of lesions at risk of cervical cancer with a special method), For Endometrial (inner lining of the uterus) cancer diagnosis: endometrial biopsies (Pipelle, sharp curettage, or hysteroscopic), Biopsy and tumor markers (blood tests) for Ovarian (Ovarian), Tube, and Vulva cancer diagnosis, The most appropriate treatment management for each diagnosed gynecologic cancer type is carried out in our department. Additionally, special follow-ups of 3-6 months and annually are performed for cancer patients.

Monitoring Maternal and Fetal Health:

In our outpatient clinic, prospective mothers are encouraged to undergo preconception examinations before pregnancy occurs. Once pregnancy occurs, it is recommended to start pregnancy checks within the first three months.

During pregnancy follow-up:

Regular pregnancy examinations and pregnancy education, Fetal examination and fetal development monitoring with four-dimensional ultrasonography, Measurement of nuchal translucency with color Doppler ultrasonography, Biochemical tests for fetal anomaly screening (triple test at 16-18 weeks of pregnancy), Detailed fetal anomaly screening ultrasound Blood and urine tests performed during pregnancy follow-up, Monitoring of fetal health with Fetal monitor (NST) Normal Delivery and Pain-Free Delivery (Epidural Analgesia) Cesarean section applications are performed. For pregnancies with suspected chromosomal abnormalities (fetal anomaly history, pregnancy over 35 years old, etc.), Amniocentesis (fluid collection from the pregnancy sac), Free fetal DNA analysis (cffDNA) screenings are applied.

Investigation of Women’s Genital System Diseases, Hormonal Disorders, Menopause Follow-Up, and Other Gynecological Practices:
